Mette Sørensen

Mette Sørensen is a registered nurse by training and have been working nine years in the gynaecology area with research. In addition to this, she has more than 15 years of working experience within the medical device industry. This includes a broad work experience with all kinds of medical devices – from high-risk class III implants in the cardiovascular area to low-risk class I medical devices, and experience from quite different companies (from large global medical device company to small start-ups). This has given her a good understanding of the clinical and regulatory requirement needed to get new medical device on the market since her main responsibility have been to set the clinical strategy in development projects and to execute the clinical part of the plan to obtain market approvals globally. In November 2021 she started working for TÜV SÜD Denmark MHS as an Internal Clinician and know she is doing the clinical part of the conformity assessment under the MDR.
